Christmas morning - best yet!

Christmas really is for children. We had so much fun preparing gifts for the girls (not too many) and instilling the magic of Christmas in them (especially Alice) They were a joy to behold all sleepy-eyed and snuggly pj -ed when we brought them down to the tree, with a giant communal gift. It's difficult to gauge who is enjoying the train set more so far, the girls or mum and dad. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you to all those who sent and brought gifts from afar. Everyone was just right for the girls, and almost all can be shared, for double the fun! Estelle hoping that next Christmas she'll need hairclips too!

Sneaky Santa

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house.... Only Guy and Lucy were playing with the new trainset! Ahem, putting it together , that is.

How do you fondue?

Although we stayed in on Christmas eve, we still made it special by hosting the girls' first ever fondue party. Cheese with bread for the first course, salad, and chocolate fondue with fruit for dessert. Can you guess which on Alice was especially fond of?

Christmas Eve Sledding

Because Grown-Ups Have Birthdays Too!

Just before Guy left last week, we celebrated his mid-December birthday. Not to be confused with the other celebration that takes place later in December. Never the two shall meet... Anyhow, while there was no jumpy jump, no animal shaped cake and only 2 measly balloons, we all had a great time!

Aint that a Guy face?

Desharnais', what do you guys think?
