Like thousands of others, we were itching for the chance to travel after a couple of relatively sedentary years. So we planned a vacation that would cram in two countries, lots of family, and an infinite number of ancient artefacts.
And we're off... (with only a 6 hour delay at Pearson airport in Toronto)
