So hard to leave the warm south and return to a New Year deep freeze, but we've stored a little sunshine down deep that will hopefully help us to make it to the spring. And now we start planning the next trip...

I love the line "and now we start planning the next trip". Really captures the joy, excitement, and learning that comes with going to new places, meeting new people, and seeing new things. And maybe just getting warm in the midst of a winter cold snap.
