Our first time at the Santa Claus Parade this year. We, along we a bazillion other lavalites, took the metro into the city and lined up four families deep to watch the floats go by. Best part - the marching bands. Worst part - waiting 2 hours for Santa to have his back to us the whole time his float passed our area.
Bums, bums, all we see from down here are bums!

It looks like the journey was more fun and exciting than seeing Santa's back (at least for Mom).
Birthdays are done (except for Dad), and the Christmas excitement begins to build.
