We had an amazing time staying with AJ & UB's, looking at photos, touring beautiful old buildings and eating cake.

After a long flight and a long night of recovery sleep, it's always wonderful to wake up to AJ&UB's beautiful garden in Baslow.
Only the beginning of 2 weeks of glorious weather!
We visited Haddon Hall, a medieval manor house, with a fascinating history, but more importantly, the recent setting for a Timothy Chalamet movie!! Eeek!
And no visit to Baslow is complete without a day at Chatsworth where we had a good lunch nosh and picked out our favorite pieces to steal under cover of darkness...
A perennial Potter favorite - the veiled lady
Lots of modern pieces mixed in this time as well. These had mixed reviews from our crowd, but you gotta admire the Duke and Duchess for being true art enthusiasts.
