Graduation

Earlier in June Alice's daycare held a graduation ceremony for the little (ahem, big) ones about to begin kindergarten in September. The kids had practiced a song many weeks leading up to the event, and everybody sported a mortarboard. They came out clapping and took their places in front of a very proud audience after which each child was called up by name to accept their diploma and a photo. No speeches, but we're pretty sure Alice would have been named valedictorian of her class.
