We travelled to Stratford this past weekend to be with Gareth and attend the service for Lindsay. We were very thankful to be able to make it (unfortunately Katherine is 10 days away from delivering Alice and Estelle's first cousin, so she couldn't travel) and we even made it out to be a little holiday for the girls. And they were INCREDIBLE! Sleeping in a strange hotel room, 8 hours on the road, lots of strangers in a church, salty restaurant food... so many deviations from the normal routine, and both girls were really amazing. We were so proud of them, and it made the trip much more enjoyable. We hope that we brought a few much needed smiles and hugs to Gareth.
