Not much to say about Paris that hasn't already been said: the Eiffel Tower, the ambiance, the croissants, the Seine, the Louvre, the gelato... we loved it all!  Our arrival in Paris was the most stressful part of the trip. The Airbnb Lucy booked ended up being in a pretty sketchy neighborhood, and had received some unglowing (= disgusting) reviews since we'd booked it. So we camped out in a local park and frantically sought out alternative accommodations. Luckily we ended up with something amazing, well located and didn't get mugged a single time!! (but we did blow the budget!)

Die-hard fans don't go to England without visiting the filming location of so much of the Harry Potter movies. So this one was a must. It's a different experience than Universal Studios in Florida (also amazing) because you get to see actual sets, costumes and props.
