Mother's Day was a blast this year. Breakfast in bed, poems and cards, and the promise of a future pedicure. Guy left for and Abitibi road trip after lunch, but Lucy and the girls picked up a new craft to try. Check out our papier maché creations below for the quite successful result. This incredible cloud combo caught my eye just as I was headed into work on Monday. Isn't nature creative?!

After nearly a year of steady reading, we finally made it through the last of the Harry Potter tomes. And they were wonderful! What special cozy moments we enjoyed together as a family. Girls pacing the room through scary chapters and Guy and I doing our very best accents to imitate Hagrid, Hermione and all the othe fabulous characters. We hope the girls girls will look back on it with fondness. And now we start watching the movies...

And Estelle drew a really cool tree!

We needed to post this before the last of the snow is gone. It has been a very very mild winter, but we had just enough snow to do all our favourite winter activities.
