Fall is a busy time in our family for birthdays, and last weekend was the all-important festivity-filled birthday weekend for Estelle. She had breakfast in bed (Lucky Charms), gifts and a friend party on Saturday, and a visit from the Potters and Trudels on Sunday. Many good times and far too many gifts; but she was a happy girl! Ooh-la-la! Heh, heh, all for meeeeeeeee! Lots of icing sugar and time went into this Fluttershy cake... See Renard Bleu's instructable video. Monster doodling from Janette and Dave Awesome 3D card from Gran and Grandad BOYS!! There were BOYS at the party!!! Thought we had another 10 years before we crossed that bridge... We bought the board game Pictionary for kids at a garage sale this summer. It has been in regular rotation since then, and the girls consistently impress with their drwaing and guessing skills. Check out the pirate Estelle drew: most impressive is that she started with the pieces of bandana hanging out the side and worked her way down!
