Happy Birthday Emma!

Another little girl turns one! Time for cake, pressies, lollypops and tired muchkins afterwards. Thanks for the party!

First skate of the season

Too bad for you NHL players - nothing can stop us from getting out on the ice this season. Waiting for the zamboni to finish. A canadian tradition.   Her first lap around the rink and she's showing off that she only needs one hand! Just plain showing off. Break time. Alice reading every street sign she spots.

Snowshoes and snowforts...

Best snow EVER for making a snowfort this year! Too bad today's 45cm buried it. We'll have to get back out there and dig it out.

Christmas, family, fun.

We were lucky to have a full house for our first Christmas in the new digs. Dave and Janette travelled west from Fredericton, and Lyse and René travelled east from St-Pierre. It was a great time, spent mostly hanging out at home, playing games, eating food and chatting. Oh and there were gifts too...             Estelle proudly (and happily?) displays the gift she made for Lucy and Guy Guy reading the autobiography Alice wrote on her own at school. Very touching. Merci Sol. Dommage que tu ne puisses pas être avec nous. Cotton candy hat made by Lyse. Purse made by Sol. Guy showing his Potter-esques excitement at his gift - a welding kit!

New Christmas Decorations

We decided to make sure our neighbours knew we were a little bit wacky by projecting some Christmas images on our front yard. Check out the video below and the full "instructable" below that: Instructable for Decorate Your Snow

Les Soirées Canadiennes (LMFAO)

Je pense qu'il doit avoir un ptit vieux qui donne des lecons à LMFAO! Ca me semble comme des soirées magnifiques.

Christmas boxes

We have been participating in the Christmas food drive at Gran and Grandad's church for a few years now. The girls were real professionals.

Undercover Advent Calender

This year we constructed an advent calender from scratch for a needy family (all they need is hockey chauffeurs). Dad did all the drilling and Mon did all the decorating. For more details please follow the link below: Undercover Advent Calender Instructable

I promise to share and be a friend

Alice joined the guiding movement back in September, but only just received her uniform and was officially enrolled. There's our little Spark-plug looking happy with her extreme ponytail and giant smile. As activities go, it's pretty low-key - no tournaments, no equipment to haul around, no rowdy boys!! (kidding about that last one) Actually, it's a little like attending a birthday party once a week.
